Cast Iron Banks That Flip Coins Inside
Around the turn of the 19th century, an insidious way to get others to put coins in your bank. Flips 'em in faster than you can actually see, so it has to be done again and again. Also doubles as a weapon -- heavy blunt object in a kid's room. See also Old-Timey.

It just means that more people would put money in your bank than you did, just to watch the short show. Sneaky way of building your savings. And being a big hunk of cast iron, it could serve as a door stop or blunt object weapon if you felt threatened. One of the few "toys" to survive from the turn of the last century. Seemed a bit much for kids.
